Satellite TV and Direct TV® are here to stay. Satellite TV is revolutionizing the way we enjoy entertainment. Satellites bring hundreds of channels into homes worldwide. Many people like to "kick back" in front of the TV, but there's nothing on! DIRECTV® makes sure that you always have choices.
DIRECTV® has also entered our children's classroom. Schools get the TV's and connections for free, but they have to agree to make the kids watch a certain length show once a day.
Many people are now "surfing the net" for info on Satellite TV. Our goal is to help people make an educated choice.

Satellite TV is still relatively new technology and is being used by millions of people all over our country. There are two primary ways one gets TV programming into there home. The traditional way is via millions of miles of cable that are run all over the country and require thousands of people to maintain the lines and set up new connections. The Satellite TV way is to call one of the top DIRECTV or Satellite TV retailers and request their service. In many cases installation and all the equipment needed are provided for free. After you’ve decided that satellite TV is the way to go and you’ve and placed your order, an install team will show up to set up the satellite system. The satellite dish will be installed to the side of your house near the roof and then covertly run wires from the dish into your homes. The wires are connected to a receiver or receivers depending on how many TVs will use the system. The receiver(s) then delivers the signal to your TV. With satellite TV you’re looking at a few hundred feet of cables. With the standard cable providers you’re literally looking at a few million miles of cable. Which one do you think is harder to maintain?
